Meet the bacán husband-wife duo behind bacan Guaro.
Colombian entrepreneur and media personality Diana Espinosa March and her Italian/Spanish husband, brand architect Ricardo March, are the masterminds behind the multi-award-winning bacan Guaro.
In 2020, the couple set out to transform the way aguardiente is consumed.
“We aimed to elevate the aguardiente experience and introduce bacan to a broader audience that may have never encountered this unique spirit. It is one of my most cherished traditions from Colombia, and I believe it deserves to be appreciated globally,” says Diana.
Determined to craft an exceptional guaro, the duo focused on using super-premium, organic ingredients to create a refined flavor profile that appeals to discerning palates worldwide–and a sip to be savored leisurely rather than how it’s traditionally been consumed as a quick, fiery shot.
After several years of experimenting, Diana and Ricardo perfected their recipe and process, blending ingredients from South America and Europe, mirroring their intertwined lives. The result is a delicious, sophisticated spirit celebrating tradition while embracing innovation.
